    General Writing Announcement

    Hi guys,

Just wanted to let you know that I'm going to be suspending my long form fic writing for a bit (hopefully just a couple of months) because...

I'm going to try to write an actual original novel.

    Reoganization under way.

Okay, so, I have decided to relocate my erotica stories to their own dedicated account. So if you see any of my saucier works disappear from this profile, don't panic. They're still around, just in a different place.

Once everything's finalized, I'll let everybody know where they can go to find them.

    Once more with feeling...

So, yeah, I need some financial help again. This time, however, it isn't quite as dire. I just came up short on money for my rent and a couple of bills that get automatically deducted from my bank account. I'm already halfway to my goal, so if any of you could help push it over the top, that woul dbe great. Any amount helps. Thanks.

    Thank you!

An observation. · 3:00pm Jun 10th, 2020

At no point in Rainbow Rocks or Sunset's Backstage Pass does anyone call Aria Blaze by name in dialogue.

If her name hadn't been in the credits of Rainbow Rocks, and if there hadn't been a doll of her, we might still be speculating on her name today.

Same for Daydream Shimmer then?

Not in the credits or ever mentionned in the movie.

"'Aria Blaze' is an ape name your primitive throats forced on me. My real name is Reipirenn bo Hizheerrpigli."
(Credit to Masterweaver for his siren conlang.)

Also of note, I recall reading somewhere that Queen Chrysalis's name wasn't spoken in-universe until she reappeared in the Season 6 finale. (Could be wrong, though.)

Well that's fascinating. o.o

Not quite. Daydream Shimmer is a fan construction, as opposed to Midnight Sparkle. I don't think Hasbro ever officially adopted it as a name.

Huh. Strange.

How odd.

Which is fortunate, because I don’t actually like Daydream Shimmer as a name very much.

That's what I thought.

But then comes a bigger question; who first had the idea of naming her Daydream Shimmer, and where (on Twitter, some art, Tumblr, etc.)?
