Sorry for the delay · 3:59pm Jun 8th, 2020
I'm not dead, well not yet anyways. I apologize for the delays that have been happening. I intended when I first to do a chapter a week, but then the chapters got longer and it took more time. That's to be expected, but the main core of all the delays, especially this latest one, has been a lack of motivation. I do want to continue this story and I've thought about a bunch of endings, paths and possible love interests for spike, but whenever i sat down to start typing all motivation I had disappears in a puff of fucking smoke, and it's irritating as all hell.
Now, when I'm not working, I will sit my ass down and fucking type, even if it is slow going. Hopefully that can overcome this lack of motivation. As for how long this chapter will take to finish, I have no idea. It's sitting at 5.5k words right now and I may need to put it in two parts as this chapter will start Spike and Gabby's relationship. Whether that turns to just friends or not remains to be seen. It will also have Twilight's date in there.

Don't worry about being late. Your work is amazing and, while I and many others would love to see it up as soon as possible, we KNOW you have things irl to deal with.
