Windigos are real.

I know they're real, because I've seen them before.
I've seen their faces, in the clouds of black smoke rising from the carcass that was once a car.
I've seen their mirages, in the scorching flames illuminating a street covered in broken glass.
I've seen their bodies, camouflaged under the pungent mist of tear gas.

...that's all I have to say.
