Hi all I am alive. SOrry for the inactivity. Between writing stuff for a creepypasta cookoff last year, failing my studies so need to find a way to redo them after the current crisis is over, being lazy and kinda depressed about stuff and making a game in RPGmaker kinda let my writing REALLY fall to the wayside, which sucks because my AU REALLY should have been progressed more than it had. I'm sorry for making you all wait and possibly worry about me (I worry about all of you too).
I'm gonna try and get my stuff sorted and try and more evenly split time between my RPG and my fics and other projects, but no promises as I'm a jerk and lazy and put things of for too long :c
Hope you're all doing well and I'll try and do some stuff (such as edit Shadow of Cystal Empire a bit to better address a plothole I've been meaning to deal with).
That sounds like a pain, but it's good to hear you're pulling things together and getting back to work.
Also, I'm curious what you're studying. A lot of college is a scam these days, so you may be better off dumping it and turning a hobby into a trade.

it's actually not college. I'm Australian so I've been doing what's called TAFE here. Not too sure how it differs from college since I've never gone to college. But yeah I've been attempting a course in game design after doing some courses in general IT work because I have ideas I wanna try and make a reality somehow.

Ah, that's definitely worth doing then. You're picking up some very marketable programming skills there so it doesn't matter if corporate idiocy makes it impossible to pull off your gaming ideas at a big company. You can always write your games on the weekends so you have total control while making tons of money working a more relaxed programming job during the week.
Getting through school can be a pain, but it'll be worth it once you're done. Getting my engineering degree sucked, but now I'm in great shape with all my major concerns covered. I'm not sure exactly how TAFE works, but once you get through it and get your first job things will get much better.

yeah I don't know either XP but yeah all I can do is try and hope for the best. beats sitting on my butt everyday doing nothing. also hope you enjoy my writing whenever I get around to continuing (I'm also working an improved demo for an RPG I'm making so I may share it on sometime)

I know that feeling, especially given the number of clueless professors I had to deal with. Just know that you'll be in good shape once you get through it and into the real world so long as you remember to think for yourself about what makes sense because quite a few of the people teaching are doing so because they cling to bizarre ideas about how to do things with religious fervor which makes them completely unemployable.
As for future writing, I'm definitely looking forward to it, although I might be a bit slow in getting to it because my use of this site has gotten spotty and most of my reading is done on the go these days.
