Already done with the *11k word* new chapter of Defense, set to go out tomorrow. It's legitimately the best thing I've written in terms of action and adventure that I've posted on this site, and I've been publishing here since 2011.

The community was so big and vibrant back in the day. Writing for Naruto really let me discover how much I enjoyed writing action and adventure. Didn't do much for dialog, but eh. No one is perfect.

Come to think of it, the training scenes in the last few chapters do rather feel like Naruto, now that I think of it. Very nice. I suppose that's one thing writing/reading Naruto will definitely do for you, understanding an exciting training sequence.
