me checking the dislike ratio on my new story

Glad to know bigotry is still alive and well in this fandom.

It's glad to see some of us didn't watch the same series as I did.

    So where I've been

Okay, uh... how do I begin this? Well, I suppose I should start with the obvious. Yes, I've been distracted. If you follow me on Archive that should be obvious. And if you don't, you totally should btw. Yes, I'm shameless.

Been a hell of a ride, honestly. I just apologize for dragging it on for so long.

I Walk the Firing Line's fate · 8:56pm May 25th, 2020

Okay, I've finally decided what to do with my Fallout Equestria story. I Walk the Firing Line. Been laying around for months with... nothing happening to it or it's characters. No, no, I'm not scrapping it. At least not entirely.

I'm just thinking of doing a soft reboot. Largely because, and there's no way around it, I have a few... bad memories associated with the story by this point. A few... falling outs if you excuse the horrible wordplay. Some of my former friends helped me with the story, and I have nothing but bad memories associated with them.

Simply put, if I read the story now, the passages they'd helped me with I'd lose enjoyment right quick. I need to rid myself of those memories, do the story how I'd want to do it. Maybe remove some of the stranger elements, sure, but keep the overall plot and such. The characters would mostly be the same, but with a few minor differences here and there. Basically, just tackle the story with my updated skill set. You know?

Does that make any sense?

Mind you, I'll freely let you all have access to the old version upon request.

I think that's a sensible way of going about it. You'll hear no complaint or criticism from me.

I've got no complaints about it getting a reboot
Would be interesting to see what you do with such a colorful cast of characters and how you'd switch it up.

Yeah, there'd be several things I'd do. Clean up the confusing plotline for one, and then have Henri stop moping about as often. Always a sore spot for me, that.
