Progress is slow, but there. · 9:59pm May 13th, 2020
Writer's block hasn't quite set in, and progress continues slowly each day for my stories. But for now, gaming has largely taken over.
Tonight, my hubby and I are going to re-attempt a feat we haven't tried since I proposed five-and-a-half years ago.
Halo 2 on Legendary.
Our first and only attempt in November of '14 ended with a crash-to-menu bug at the very end of Oracle, because, well, MCC's Xbox launch was absolutely, unquestioningly FUBAR. We were not willing to go through the entire level again, so the attempt was dropped. Today, Halo 2 released for the Master Chief Collection on PC. We've got Reach and Halo CE Legendary under our belts, so time to try again.
I can't help but wonder if we're at an advantage or disadvantage this time with separate screens and separate PCs. More screen real estate, true, especially in my case with the ultrawide. But the advantage of splitscreen was coordinating with your partner was undeniably easier, as you knew exactly where they are and what they're doing.
That's all from me for now. Stay safe, stay healthy, and hopefully, stay sane.
Much love,
Miles

No, should it?
Best of luck on the run. H2A was the last campaign I did solo legendary, it’s no joke.
Good luck. Only halo game I tried to solo is reach. Stuck on long night of solstice being the last one to finish for the achievements.

We're planning on co-oping everything in the MCC. But Halo 2's caveat is that linked lives bullshit that isn't in any other Halo title, instead being changed to the Iron Skull.
skulls or no skulls or is that just number3

No skulls. Just straight Legendary Co-op.
