TV Tropes Page Apple Bloom's Mansion

Someone made a TV Tropes page about the Apple Bloom's Mansion saga.

    Link.

I made quite the number of tropes without knowing, lol.

Subspace Army Tree Before Chapter 168

Here is the tree showing the officers' ranks in the Subspace Army before chapter 168. I advise to read the chapter first before seeing the image.

    "New" Story and New Group

I'm starting to write a new story, or not really. It will actually be a compilation of stories in the universe of UME. Tales From The Omniverse. More than a compilation, this is a group made by Cyrus Colter there. In this group, people will be able to post their Tales happening in UME's universes.

    Sizes Precision

With A Sweetie Dream Land's rewriting, I have changed some sizes.

As of the starts of A Sweetie Dream Land, Kirby was 20cm tall. A Waddle Dee is about 30cm, Dedede, about one meter, Meta Knight, over 30cm (maybe 35cm, not sure yet), and Sweetie Void, about 50cm.

By the time of The Forgotten Land, Kirby is 30cm tall, and Sweetie is about 60cm.

    Rewriting A Sweetie Dreamland

I'm going to start to rewrite A Sweetie Dreamland, essentially to change the verb tenses. I'm also going to change "Dreamland" to "Dream Land", maybe change a few lines here and there, and so on. I don't know how long it will take, but I think that I should be done before the end of February.

Learning about Persona's universe · 8:19pm May 7th, 2020

*Opens a video explaining what is Shin Megami Tensei and Persona.*

......

......

*Closes it after five minutes.*

*Takes a big breath.*

Okay... This will be harder than I thought... I knew that Persona's universe (and by extension, Shin Megami Tensei's universe) was complicated, but I didn't think that it was that... Oof... :applejackconfused: Please, someone explains, are SMT like the FF and DQ series, as in they happen in different worlds? In one episode, Tokyo is destroyed by a nuclear bomb (from what I understood), but in others, and in Personas, Tokyo is alright. It isn't helped that in France, we only got one SMT, Lucifer's Call (with a really weird Tokyo if I remember correctly when my brother played it), and one Persona, Persona 5 Royal.

Maybe it will be simpler if I just ask someone to give me a small rundown of the saga. :rainbowlaugh:

Well, Nocturne started with the world being destroyed and ended with it being remade in a form depending on which ending you went for. The "neutral" ending where you just undestroy the world without making any other changes is the only one that jives with the Demifiend's later cameo, so the fact that that's possible papers a lot over. That said, Persona is definitely a different universe... but part of the same multiverse with potential for powerful beings to hop between them. There are other side continuities as well, for that matter. And then there's the "featuring Dante from the Devil May Cry series" and I honestly don't know how canon that crossover is supposed to be.

...Actually, I'm pretty sure it wouldn't make sense for Aigis to have been in the past of Joker and the gang's world. So continuity's a hot mess but there are in-universe forces to blame for that.

Oooh boy... Well, at least, I won't have to learn much about SMT if Persona is in a different universe. I will just have to learn the necessary for Joker to be able to use the Metaverse stuff in the real world, and maybe about those beings powerful enough to hop between the two universes. As for Dante... Well, in the possible outcome that Dante is a future DLC character, I think it is preferable to not take into account this crossover. The story will already be chaotic enough. :rainbowlaugh:

Conveniently enough, the main sign of such beings is the final boss of Joker's own game.

Also, remember that the Kid Icarus crew have no fourth wall, so they're practically obligated to bring up any official crossovers regardless of whether they're canon to the story... up to and including Super Smash Bros itself.

Trust me, fourth wall will get smashed, hard, and not just by the Kid Icarus crew or Discord and Pinkie. It will be so bad that I think that the fourth wall will resign its job.

I've only played Persona 5, but from a few videos I've seen on the other games, I can tell you that the Persona games (Not sure about Shin Megami) tend to have a great deal of symbolism. The bosses I feel being the most upmost examples. The first one in five for instance. When you learn about his personality, his shadow form has a lot of design choices that make so much sense.

Yeah, this is what I understood when I saw a video compiling all the bosses. I still need to watch a walkthrough or to play the game to at least understand what the heck happened at the end with the god thing and all that metaverse that was merging with reality stuff.

There's only one thing to know about persona

YOU NEVER SEE IT COMING!!!!!!!!

Username checks out. That said, if you're planning to write a coherent story involving the setting, it is imperative that you learn more than that one line from the refrain of the basic battle theme.

*Pokes head in*
My time has come. OKAY, So. The Persona 1 and 2 Innocent sin take place in the same universe, Said universe get's fucking destroyed and persona 2 Eternal punishment onward all take place in this second universe.
Persona 4 happens a few years after Persona 3 and Persona 5 Takes place a few years after Persona 4.
You can use whatever method of Entry to the demon world you want as there seems to be no limit in the persona universe, Games, 13th hour, TV station, Smartphone app, summoning circle if you want, though only one per story is a good rule unless they are directly connected.

SMT on the other hand is far more ambiguous, as each game seems to have it's own separate universe, but there are always constants, like the god YHVH, the Demon king lucifer and The sense of morality always being an ever present being. so if you make a sequel to an SMT story, you can include the same characters again, just making them a bit different personality and motivation wise or slightly change their backstory.
Demons seem to just show up one day due to something happening but they are known about before hand or not given much thought afterwards, it's best to only go into it for a bit.

Also, neither series share universes. Persona is more about humanity and symbolism, SMT is more about Deities and morality. I recommend sticking with what fits your fancy and sticking with it, because trust me, Mixing the two can be very... Confusing to say the least.

5299372
Mmmh... I think I will stick with Persona. SMT seems to be too complicated. At the limit, I will make Lucifer and YHVH appear, but that's all. Thank you :).

No problem, Trust me, I was light on the SMT shenanigans. f*cking Stephen and everything he brings to the table.
