I have a crazy idea, but it would involve Rarity. And I mean Rarity, shining through Diemond. Rarity makes a fashion shooot/runway deal. I understand thats crazy, and its not Canon to manga and show, but it would be cool. A day off from the front lines, Diemond decides to hold a runway shoot, and invites the "hottest girls/boys in Aincrad" to come and walk it. She has armor smiths and clothing makers come and make designs, and the boys and girls walk the runway for a day. And Asuna is forced to do it by every KOB knight, and Heathcliff, because he thinks its fun (and come on, we all know who he really is.) Kirito joins out of Bladescape pressuring him to, Klein helps. And it would be a fun day off from the front lines.

Crazy idea, fun outcome if pulled off.

That is an absolutely amazing idea. I had never thought of it. Yes, I stick a lot to the SAO world, but we barely got a glimpse of it. A fashion showdown would be fun and it wouldn't be hard to slip it into SAO canon. I'm not sure I could get Kirito involved. I could get Asuna rather easily.

I'll think on this idea. It would be lots of fun.

That's all I ask. And yeah, I do agree that getting Kirito would be rather hard. But by this point in time, they have started dating, I'm pretty sure. If Asuna joins, she could get Kirito to join somehow. But if not, it would still be cool.

It was another reason I suggested exploring more about the children being looked after at Level 1 along with others like that older man fishing. Those people (i.e. non-combatants) could be used to represent another platform to show other parts of SAO besides the fighters and others supporting them.

Huh, you just reminded me, remember that earlier suggestion about how Pinkie couldn't resist helping plan parties..... more so for parties for the kids at Level 1? Maybe those events plus others could also give Pinkie a reputation as a party planner within SAO. That's something she couldn't resist doing.

In a way, it's basically part of the themes from Equestria Girls canon being brought into SAO due to the Wondercolts' presence, besides Equestrian magic being like a chaos factor.

They are all Wonderful ideas. I admit, I could use a bit more EQG themes in the story. I do my best. And I do consider what you guys suggest. I have a good set up going for the non-combatants. The story itself is still an adventure tale at it's heart, meaning I keep the camera pointed elsewhere.

I don't mention until much later that AFCK has a whole stack of photos she takes, and that no one realizes she was taking them, especially the combat ones. Or how she was taking them in the middle of battle. Just AFCK being Pinkie Pie at heart. You guys will enjoy her Day in the Life of chapter. Actually, I might be able to slide the photos into that chapter. They were a recent idea for a chapter far in advance on where the releases are.

I just picked up SAO:Hollow Realization and SAO:Fatal Bullet for my Switch. I thought about getting the other games for PS4, but decided against it.
One thing that's interesting is that the games diverge from the anime, starting with where the Aincrad arc ended.
A glitch caused Heathcliff to disappear from the 75th floor, and players had to finish the last 25 floors. Leafa and Sinon also get involved earlier because of this, and Yuuki doesn't die in this timeline. It also introduces a bunch of new characters like Strea, Philia, Rain, and Seven. It was a bit confusing when I first started the demo for Fatal Bullet.

Colorra's POV would be interesting. It would give some insight on how monsters in SAO think. A time lapse covering the first day she was spawned to the present could work. It could cover her first encounter with players killing her and respawning, seeing how Doombunny was different than the others, etc. I suppose the details would come down to how smart beasts are in the same, and if they follow programming verses being closer to an AI.

I could see it as a morale booster. Maybe after a particularly brutal floor boss, Diemond puts it together to bring some normalcy to the front lines. Some might see it as a waste of time though.

This may sound weird but seeing this video reminded me of the significance and effect of Pinkie's pictures to help tell the story of the people trapped in SAO. The ups and downs, the memories of the dead and the survivors, including those who ended up KIA after their pictures were taken. I hope you don't mind this new video.
