So how's everybody holding up?

I'm ... alright, all things considered. Kind of getting into a routine-that-isn't-a-routine. Like, at least I'm getting in more exercise now than I did when the world wasn't ending, so that's a plus, right?

In any case, during said exercise, my mind began to wander-- at which point I came up with terrible/awesome crossover stuff that only, like, PresentPerfect will appreciate. Y'see, there's this co-op card game called Sentinels of the Multiverse that's about superheroes of a fictional comic-book company. And the conceit is that said comic books have just as much history and lore behind them as actual companies like Marvel or DC-- or, uh, they fictionally do. The two guys behind the game have a weekly podcast, The Letters Page, where they talk about it. It's neat.

Anyway, I started thinking about pinkish-purplish characters who regularly break the fourth wall, at which point a name jumped into my head.

Pinkie Guise.

Unfortunately, I can't draw for crap, so no fanart shall be forthcoming. Instead, I started kicking around other wordplay-ish names instead, leading to stuff like:

The Super-Scientific Twilight

Ra, Goddess of Sunset

Tempest Shadow. (Okay that one's cheating a little but I realized I kinda had to throw it in).

Or if we're digging into side-characters I guess we gotta throw in Nightmistmane. Which, well, old lady urban fantasy sorceress kinda works, if you think about it.

And then we start getting into somewhat contrived ones, like, uh, The Wraith-ity? Which of course would have her archnemesis, whose name was some mashup of Spike/Spite that wasn't a horrible mess. Spikte?

Wait, no. Rarity obviously needs to get alamagramed with Unity, doesn't she? Runity? Then she'd make, like, sentient dress constructs? Stuffed animals? HMM.

Naturally, Applejack gets to become the Chrono-Farmer, or ... Apple Ranger? No, that sounds like a fruit company mascot. Still, Chrono-Farmer could be an interesting concept, as she'd go back in time to 'plant' whatever she needed to deal with a situation in the future, via butterfly effect. (Fluttershy effect? Oooh, there's a good title for a fanfic... ). But now I'm just veering too far off into weird territory rather than making terribly strained puns, so I think I'll quit.

Don't worry, I do not plan to write this crossover.

Or, rather, I've got other silly Sentinels/Pony ideas for something that's marginally more coherent.

This is what I'm doing instead of being productive on a Friday night. Go figure.
