"The Most Chaotic Life Ever!" : Yet Another Sequel... · 2:11am Mar 26th, 2020

Hope all are well and safe and healthy <3
In the midst of our mutual crisis plus my own bouts of stress and cautious optimism, I think I've been outlining a third story - only a few chapters, but it's starting, and it's going to be chaos lol. It's based on Luna's joke suggestion in the last chapter of MCDE that Tirek, Chrysalis, and Cozy should come over for a tea party once they're reformed (and Twilight said she wanted to come too). I have some good feelings about this one - just a lot of social and romantic and frenemy awkwardness. And Discord and Celestia address a few loose ends in their relationship. Luster Dawn is present among others. Not sure when it'll be up and running, but here's a sample of what I have so far.

Dear Celestia,
I’m sorry for not writing for a weeks. Luster Dawn’s ‘adventures’ making new friends and reforming Tirek, Chrysalis, and Cozy Glow have been…challenging to oversee. She’s doing well, absolutely, but I still worry about her, especially since she’s just starting out. This feels like the first time in years I’ve been close to ‘Twilightling’, like all of the girls (and Discord) used to say. Anyway, with Luster living in Ponyville, it’s gotten a lonelier around Canterlot. So I was wondering if you and Luna and Discord might like to come by for dinner tomorrow night? You and Luna could even perform the sunset and the moonrise for old time’s sake if you want. And Discord can even sit on the throne and crack jokes about my height. We'll just have a nice fun evening together and catch up.
Then maybe I could ask the three of you about something? It’s…a big favor. And if the answer’s no, I understand, but either way I’d like to ask in person. It involves a lot of creatures. And Luster. A lot Luster. And others… And me.

“Oh she must be nervous - she’s only vague when she’s nervous,” Discord commented after rereading the letter to himself once more then snapping it away. From his cloud soaring him through the sky toward Canterlot he turned and glanced at the pony sisters who were sharing a cloud of their own heading in the same direction.
“Of course she’s nervous,” Luna managed before a yawn, “she remembers what you were like right after the first time you were ‘reformed’, and now she’s concerned she’ll have to deal with it times three. She doesn’t want to end up trapped in the everfree forest by plunder seed vines.” She smirked at the chaos master.
“Oh ha-ha,” he rolled his eyes, “to be fair, I’d had that plan set in motion a millennium before I was even semi-reformed. Tirek, Chrysalis and Cozy Glow never had the foresight or the time. Though I can’t wait to see what ‘reformed’ them is like.” He grinned. “Do you think Chrissy turned all rainbow colors and sparkly? Or that Tirek gave up all his power and turned all old and small again? Or the Cozy Glow…I don’t know, felt better after a time out?” He raised an eyebrow. “Remind me again how one of Equestria’s worst villains was a fussy child?”
Celestia laughed. “Discord, Luna, don’t tease so much. You know both know reforming isn’t easy and neither is fitting in when you’ve been gone for a while.”
Luna and Discord shared a grin and held a hoof and claw respectively high. “Banished for a 1000 years club unite!” They laughed and Celestia did too.
Then Celestia turned to Discord again. “Twilight does sound nervous, Discord, but it’s because she’s got a very special student. She’s putting her through great trials already and letting her fend for herself. It’s as daunting as it is rewarding. I still get nervous wondering if Twilight’s okay - that’s why I’m so happy she writes to me more often these days.”
“True - watching the girls tackle problems after I promised to stop being their very handsome safety net was very hard,” Discord agreed.
Luna looked down for a moment but then cleared her throat. “Er, I believe we’re at the castle.” She pointed into the distance.
Indeed, Canterlot Castle was just ahead.
I'm liking this very much so far! It will be interesting to see Luster Dawn and the villains interact, as well as Twilight's favor.

Oh dear, are they going to need the Sisters and Discords help in turning Luster into an alicorn?

I've been writing a scene a day since I posted this blog, and I'm really having fun - it's helping perk me up a lot lol. There's going to be a lot of comedy and drama and cute stuff. I'm enjoying exploring Luster, and writing adult Flurry Heart is fun too. The Young Six are also going to make appearances, and there'll be other surprises too! Also, Discord and Celestia have been married for decades now so sometimes they just randomly say saucy things to each other. 
It's going to be a short story (maybe five chapters), but I'll try to start posting next month
