My delve into playwriting · 11:30pm Mar 25th, 2020
Last week I came across a fun challenge being posted on Facebook through a group called "Quarantine Bake-Off" they are a group of theatre students who due to the current Quarantines were bored, and as such thought, it would be a fun way to see the creativity of the community. The challenge was to write a play script, the subject and tone could be whatever you wanted it to be so long as you followed three rules. The first rule was that the play could be no more than fifteen pages in length (not counting a short introductory page, and whatever pages you used to describe settings, characters, etc.) The second rule was that you had to include in some way, shape, or form five "ingredients" in your play which consisted of things like "a light in the darkness" and "a bottle of hand sanitizer" you had to use all of the ingredients if you wanted to be considered. And the final rule was...you had 24 hours to do all this in. It was a challenge, I didn't quite make it, or even if I did I didn't get chosen for the final drawing (no biggie though, it was fun just participating).
Anywho, I would love to post it here for everyone to read, but if I remember correctly FimFiction's rules include a segment on acceptable formats and a play script is not one of them. If anyone is curious, I'd be more than happy to PM people the link to the story.
I'd like to see it, if you have a chance to pm it to me.

Super! I hope you and yours are weathering things in these uncharted waters.
Here's a link to the script: I call it Panicked Pony Prose (also known as I needed a title to properly submit it to Deviantart so yeah)
