Hello, all. It may seem I have not been all that active lately, and with things as they are in the world, I thought it would be good to make this post.
First off, a long overdue link to some fan art by Lawra.
Second of all, I am at the moment doing okay with regards to the coronavirus crisis. Fortunately, my career allows me to work from home, which I have been doing for the past two weeks (and being surprisingly more productive than I thought I would be). Also, both my wife and I tend to be introverts, so we've had little problem with staying at home. If anything changes, I'll be sure to let people know.
But I'm sure the real burning question on everyone's mind is: when is he going to write that third Pandemic novel?
Short answer: ... eventually. Feel free to tl;dr at this point if that is sufficient explanation for you.
The long answer is that I am still searching for inspiration for the third novel. I have bits and pieces of ideas I want to explore, some ideas for characters, but I don't have yet a cohesive story. I am trying not to push myself, as I would rather wait and give you all a quality story rather than rush it out of a sense of obligation and give you crap. Also, I do admit that current events are preoccupying my mind at the moment, so there is that distraction as well. Also, I do have interests outside of MLP (I know, weird, right? 
) that I have been immersing myself in of late.
So I am still active on this site. I may be slow to respond to PMs, but I read each one of them. Same goes for all comments on my stories. So I am around, and so far safe.
And you all be safe too. Don't blow off the recommendations concerning stay-at-home, quarantine, or whatever your local government happens to call it. This will pass eventually, and I hope all my readers will weather this storm.
I wish I could stay home, but work requires me to continue working so people can buy food (and toilet paper for some reason). Also it's good to hear you are safe.
Alas, logistics is not a part of a company that can work at home, so I'm still moving boxes around to earn my keep.
That said, the muse is a fickle mistress, isn't it? I know how that feels. I've got at least three pieces that are in various stages of half-finished because the ideas won't really solidify.
It is, however, good to hear you're still around and getting through the current events. Stay safe out there!
