Okay, now for the serious half of this blog post. Coronavirus is a problem, and a general piece of shit to boot. So far, the only helpful information on it I've come across is from the website of CDC. If you want a quick, easy to read, and relevant FAQ to how you can prevent spreading it and protect yourself, the user Holy has posted a very well-researched blog that answers all your questions. He's gathered information over the past few months from a variety of sources, and it's the most helpful stuff I've come across thus far. Please give it a click, it isn't anything meant to stoke fears and offers info on how you can put your worries to rest. I would have posted this all sooner, but my laptop was confined to a Best Buy for almost a week. Bleh. I have it back now, though.
A mini update on my state as an author: I'm fine, though really stressed. My university has moved to online classes and is generally really chaotic while everyone is deciding who stays and goes home due to the virus. This won't be impacting updates because of the buffer I have built up, but it has prevented me from writing anything new. After all, my computer was having issues during midterms and then all this virus stuff happened. I have to focus on that kind of thing, and all the rescheduling and general messiness that comes with whatever the fuck is going on first. Maybe I'll offer a blog outlining some other pony word project goals in a month or two. After all, I have been mentioning non-Enemy of Mine writing that I'm working on behind the keyboard, and eventually editing and printing some longer stories.
Somewhat luckily there hasn't been any confirmed cases of the virus within my general area?
Finally, living in the middle of nowhere does something!Pretty close though. Still good to be prepared, so I'll give that other blog a read. It's still a mess out there.And thank you again for the promo!
Hope your computer issue gets figured out quick too, now would probably be one of the best times to write since leaving the house isn't going to be done much, though I guess that also prevents too much tech fixing.
