In this blog post, I will describe some things about the Singapore Armoured Cavalry.
The Singapore Armoured Cavalry (SAC) is a fictional force created for my stories.
It is a special force in the Singapore army and has the ability to operate in all terrain.
The force consists of 20 horses and 20 riders. It includes armoured vehicles like infantry carrier vehicles and tanks to cover up the fact that the main force is made up horses.
All horses in the force wear magically enhanced armour that can repel most projectiles.
Some of the characters that will be appearing will be from this force.
Rommel:
A war horse named after the legendary General Erwin Rommel. In an alternate timeline, he is a unicorn disguised as a horse that was saved by Rommel during a battle in world war 1. Since then he followed Rommel around and became his horse. Though he did not take part in any action during world war 2, he was loyal to him and respected him. He then modeled himself after the war hero. He and his rider would go on to form the Singapore Armoured Cavalry (SAC) and would design their armour and armoured vehicles.
He is a very big horse and is 2 stories tall from his head to his hooves. Due to his size, he is usually viewed as the leader of the horses at the SAC and is able to run faster than most horses at the SAC.
Derpy/ Goldhearts:
An Alicorn disguised as a horse. Goldhearts was the child of the Unicorn Queen and Unicorn King. Raised at the Singapore Zoo, she would help many visitors at the Zoo and would earn her the name of Goldhearts. She would be approached by Rommel to form the SAC. She agreed and was transferred over to the SAC.
She is a small horse about the size of a pony. Mostly viewed as the runt of the pack, she could not fulfil any requirements of the SAC as a war horse due to her stature. Despite this, she tried her best in any Mission and it earned the respect of her rider, Andrea.
Keith:
A lieutenant in the Singapore Army. He was transferred to the SAC due to his prior experience in riding horses. He is the Commanding officer in the SAC.
Andrea
A lieutenant in the Singapore Army. She was transferred to the SAC due to her prior experience in riding horses.
When choosing their horses, she chose Goldhearts as she likes challenges and an honour to ride her into battle.
Hopes this provides a clearer picture to my stories. More details would be released at a later date.
