What are your favorite stories or kind of stories? · 8:39pm Feb 18th, 2020
With so many stories I would like to hear if anyone recommends anything in particular, especially if it can give me ideas or inspiration for stories of my own. Personally I am someone who reads a little bit of everything, although I have a certain fascination with crossovers and AUs because of the endless possibilities they offer.
However I think Slice of life where things are kind of what you would expect to see in the middle of the show is among my favorites because that’s kind of what the show was all about, every day life with friends in a magical land.
There are also very deep and moving stories as well but a lot of them involve Twilight outliving her friends and loved ones because of her immortality, which for the record I don’t even think she has because Celestia wouldn’t want her student to go through it.
That’s just my opinion however. What about all of you?

horror is a close fav to me. I can enjoy any story written if it interest me but horror is one of my main things. thanks to the classic slasher films, like Jason and Michel from Halloween, and games like the dead space series and outlast. my love for it is massive

It was actually because of mlp horror stories that I got interested in the fandom in the first place. As I read more stories I quickly feel in love with both the characters and the mlp world. I realized that I had greatly underestimated the maturity of the fandom and how well written many of its stories are. Sadly I didn’t become an active member until after the show ended but I guess better late than never.

these stories are well written a good chunk of the time, cupcakes and rainbow factory come to mind. I do hope you enjoy your part in the fandom, I have been around since season 6 but I haven't really interacted with the community till a few months ago
