Future!Rainbow Dash: "Yes! And don't ask about Daring Doo spoilers, you'll just be sad!"
Rainbow Dash: "Okay! So, why have you come to the past? Is there some terrible post-apocalyptic future you need me to avert and save all of Equestria?!"
Future!Rainbow Dash: "No... It's worse."
Rainbow Dash: "Worse than that?!"
Future!Rainbow Dash: "THE WORSTEST!"
Rainbow Dash: "What is it?! WHAT?! WHAAAT?!"
Future!Rainbow Dash: "Here's a list of pranks Applejack is going to pull on you! You need to be ready with the proper counter pranks to outprank her! You can't let her and her kids be better pranksters than us!"
Rainbow Dash: "... You time traveled, breaking the laws of time and space, just to give me a list of pranks Applejack's gonna pull on me?"
Future!Rainbow Dash: "Yes."
Rainbow Dash: "YOU'RE RIGHT! THAT IS THE WORSTEST!"

"Oh, well, remember these old cheesy Supermare movies?"
"...going around the world counterclockwise at super speeds?"
"Yea. Turns out that doesn't work at all. Don't try it. So I just leaned on Twilight a bit while she was drunk."
Honestly, probably the most responsible use of time travel.
She is soo right and funny
And then it turns out that Future!Dash gave her wrong information that leads to Present!Dash getting embarrassed every single time. Present!Dash realizes she's been pranked by her future-self. She decides it's funny and then time-travels to the past to prank Past!Dash, thus fulfilling the time loop and confirming Rainbow Dash as the best, cutest, most adorable jerkass with a heart of gold you'll ever meet.

Note: If you want that Superman scene to make sense, have it just be the superspeed itself causing him to go back in time, regardless of direction. Turning FTL into time travel technically requires more effort than that, but eh, back then 88 miles per hour was enough.
