For those that weren’t following closely, The GATE is completed. 797 views and 52 upvotes. If you haven’t upvoted, please do.
I’m still toying with an epilogue in order to leave open possibilities either for me or for the community to extend the story. It’s half done, but may also never be published so If you haven’t completed reading The GATE, now is a good time. The epilogue is unnecessary for complete enjoyment for all the threads, on both the human and pony, are complete.

I still think the story didn't really end, more like it just... stopped. We still don't really know what happened from the human point of view, how they processed everything that happened and what led to them drawing the conclusion that "just shoot everything" was the best solution. It really could have used a couple more chapters to establish the human's side of things, as well setting up the next step for both sides to take.
