I just received some very sad news.
Apparently, author and artist extraordinaire, Warren Hutch, passed away around the 18th. Most likely, it was from his LUS, mentioned on his profile. This is such a tragic loss for all of us, especially his 941 followers . He is well known for many fics (the Screwball trilogy, two Daring Do fics, and the tale of The White Mare among the ones he's done), but is probably best well known for his future story series, beginning with "Windfall," chronicling the Mane Six many years in the future as they hurry from all over Equestria to be at Sweet Apple Acres for when Big Mac and Fluttershy have their first foal. It's such a beautiful and heartwarming story which is only punctuated by his beautiful artwork . It is then followed by "Earth and Sky," where Twilight, Rarity and Apple Bloom's attempts to build a magic flying harness to better relations between ponies of the ground and sky eventually leads to a madcap race of adventure, danger, intrigue, and quite a few comedic moments. The next one was "Movie Magic," where Twilight gets a shocking new ability that may very well save Equestria from a certain BUG infestation. However, he had not written anything for it since 2014. I personally had written to him and asked if he would ever finish it. He thanked me for the kind words, but stated that he had since moved on from writing fimfiction. He hoped that maybe eventually circumstances would be in his favor that he could return to it again, but it sadly seems that time will not come to pass .
Please, read these fics. They are marvelous in creating a world of Equestria all his own as well as colorful and fascinating characters.
My heart and love goes out to all of his followers, friends and family .
Rest in Peace, Warren.
My condolences.

I'm sure that those who care about him appreciate it greatly .
It's just horrible that this happens so often these days, great and creative minds dying so young. Not just celebrities (like Monty Oum, creator of the great show RWBY who passed 5 years ago this Saturday, or fantastic Disney actor Cameron Boyce who died very young last July,) but also regular and amazing people like us who have such potential as these people did (like MythrilMoth who passed away last May.) Warren was definitely one of those people.
My condolences to the author. May he rest in peace.

Yeah. It's been almost a year, but I'm sad about it and am sad he'll never be able to continue his stories.
