    USS Arizona Story

Anybody know what happened to that USS Arizona story that was quite popular in the recent days? I have noticed that it seems deleted.

    General Burkhalter as a Pony

Oh boy... You guys better get creative with this one. Basically, I want to know what people would think of General Burkhalter if he got turned into a pony and what he would look like. I already have my name for him heh... General Windbreaker.

    Sergeant Schultz as a Pony

Now, this is just a general question for you all to deliberate on, but how would the ever loveable Sergeant Schultz look like as a pony. More importantly, what would his Cutie Mark and profession be? My guess is toy maker but I would like to know everyone else's ideas.

Definitely a Toymaker. It's said it was what he was best at.

A slightly larger than average, somewhat overweight earth pony. He's a royal guard looking to open a toy store. His cutie mark is a pinata and blindfold.

Cutie Mark ideas:

  1. WW2 German Military Helmet (keeping it simple)
  2. Closed Eyes
  3. You could do a cop out and keep him in a ponied WW2 German Uniform
  4. A "?"
  5. A little picture of pony him walking in the opposite direction his body is
  6. His WW2 Sergeant Rank

I see something like this!

Did you know, the German uniforms used in the show were all originals.

Yes, I did know. Originally Burkhalter was supposed to be a Luftwaffe General but they could not find the uniform for his role.

As as Living Historian, I wish those uniforms were still around. On all sides. They got chucked, burned, lost, and we just don't have them anymore. Sadly.

The tricky part being, we aren't really aware of Schultz profession before the Great War. But if we were to keep it simple and use what evidence we have from the show, perhaps something related to toy-making. A soldiery-related cutiemark wouldn't be fitting, I feel. As Schultz has often shown a distaste for actual fighting and combat. Heck, his rifle is usually unloaded in the show. Nor is it even a standard issue weapon.

We get very little of Schultz in the Great War, other than how he saved a General (the Lieutenant) life and they became friends soon after.

I haven't read the story yet, but me thinks it's a safe bet that he was a toy maker, his stature seems to fit the role and I could just see him wearing a smock with chisel an hammer in hand as he's bent over a bench working on a nutcracker.
