So, year seven… and some months. · 10:04pm Jan 20th, 2020
I waited until I'd gotten around to watch the final episodes before thinking about this Yearly Blog Post™ of mine. Then I wrote something in a Google Doc, and never got around to fleshing it out, nor posting. Oh well.
In case that you haven't watched the finale, don’t worry; this blog contains no spoilers, just a vague opinion of mine.
So, this really has been a ride now, hasn't it?
Some people say the show ended after season 2, others season 3, others season whatever.
But, regardless, it was a special feeling to finish the final three episodes of season 9.
Were the episodes absolutely perfect? No.
Were they analogous to the easygoing, lighthearted series that we started off with way back? No.
But I'm glad. Actually touched.
The ending could have been so much worse, but this was good. Thoroughly enjoyable.
I’m glad to have stuck around, even with the lowered intensity that it’d been as of late.
Just thought I’d post something, even after being tardy.
Life’s keeping me busy; work and other necessities. There’s less time to invest into any kind of leisure, especially compared to 2012. That together with a dwindling interest, does make me less active, I guess.
And yet, I always seem to have this site open in a tab. Just in case some old forlorn story updates. In case some new gem pops up.
Sometimes I've posted some art to finish things off, but this time, well, Viva Reverie made this amazing polka. A celebration of our fandom, really. With so many throwbacks to awesome music and videos made throughout the years. I highly recommend giving it a watch:
It did spark some nostalgia, that's for sure
