Birthday Month Update

Hey Fimfiction. Sorry we left on depressing terms with the last blog post. I’m glad to say that’s shifted a bit in the months since. My depression was pretty brutal for most of the first three months of the year, but in April that really began turning around. I’m glad to say I’m doing much better than I was. Howdy hello from Pensacola, fimfiction fam!

I'm having the time of my life here! I got to see both of the murals I wanted, found what will surely be my church when I come here permanently, I got to see downtown lit up like a Christmas tree, got an awesome Pensacola T-Shirt, and saw Pensacola Beach and went go-carting!

I tell you guys, the more I see of Pensacola, the more it feels like home. Everywhere I turn, I have found signs (both literal, figurative for that matter) that I belong here. I can feel it in my bones, and I feel so calm here. I'm not going crazy with my anxiety or having panic attacks.

I'm praying so hard for a way to stay to come my way before I leave on Thursday. For those of y'all who pray, please say some for me so that I don't have to go home.
