Vacation from work, family, yada yada ...... ponies!

That was not a complete sentence.

I'm writing again therefore This Is Fine.

I just published an update to A Lady Fit for Royalty, which is officially my longest published horsewords now. A lot more story is in the pipes, but I wanted to get this out and get the ball rolling again. I'm still unsure about some details of the pacing - this is my first real attempt at long-form fiction - but as a standalone chapter anyway I'm happy about it. It's Raritwi, so it's fine, right?

Why did this chapter take so long? Ostensibly IRL work. In practice, I got super distracted by the Non* series, which I believe I originally intended as one-shot but now I'm two thousand words into the third installment, so I digress. Jinglemas also happened, but that's Sunset Shimmer's fault anyway so shrug.

With Jinglemas over and Non* on pause for the moment, it's all steam forward on Lady...

....until I end up distracting myself with another shipping one shot.......alas.....

Mwap.

I'm pretty sure only like two people read these blog posts and I love both of them, so if you're reading this, ily!

Filly out.

Long-form fiction is fun, but also like .... how do I make characters ... do things .... for more than a scene????
