NEW STORY! (it contains horses)

Y'all said you liked short stories in between updates, and well, whaddya know: I happened to have a writing impulse that led to a story that just... kinda flowed out. I'm still working on other things: chiefly that Enemy of Mine update and a few other short pieces, some for my regular anthology and others for a new one. I want to build up something of a writing buffer with the shorter stuff, that way I can have more of those sweet, sweet frequent (or semi-frequent) updates y'all seem to enjoy.

One thing you might've noticed is that the new 'story' appears to be 'stories'. Well, there's a reason for that! Site rules permit a mature story to have a teen version and the like, so there's two versions. This is my first substantial dive into writing a mature story (tagged in this bloggo) and I'd like to hope I did an alright job at it. The mature version is the one I prefer, as it pans out more and has an extra 2,000 words or so to answer a bit more and poke around.

It's got some neat shit in it, including but not limited to:

• a goth horse (not one of my regular goth horses either!)

• a horse with no name
• fucking french horses
• pun pun puns
• french horse pun things????
• a fairly decent word count if I do say so myself
• guest appearance of those quirky little hotel soaps you're welcome

• unfortunately there's no demons :(
• two endings i guess???
