I like writing about the worst day of a character's life; it lets us see the mettle inside. (Pronouns: RB/20 )

    Some books I love

I haven't produced much content lately. Just not feeling "pony." Been working on some space opera I might post to Royal Road or Amazon or something someday.

In light of my recent lack of content, have some of my favorite books:

    Always worth a re-read

I just re-read, for the sixth or eighth time, one of my all time favorite books:
Neptune's Inferno: The U.S. Navy at Guadalcanal, James D. Hornfischer

Quick Survey – "The Ponies in the Caves" (edited) · 8:08pm Dec 13th, 2019

Quick survey from my followers and anyone who added "The Ponies in the Caves" to tracking.

I'm considering a side-story / prequel about how young medic Redheart earned her Cross of Valor and her Wounded in Action decorations.

Would people want to read this story?

Thanks! Please comment below or PM.

Very tentative, very subject-to-change tagline:

Far beyond Equestria's borders, in a rescue mission against brutal slavers, rookie Guard medic Redheart learns that the path of duty is the way to glory.

No story premise is wrong per se. If you do and write it, I would try to innovate with the feat of valor, though. Military/war fics are often quite similar and have that rinse/repeat taste to them.

Well, I might have not read the main story, but the backstory would definatly be interesting

Absolutely, I would love to read that.. then again you already know my feelings on one of your characters :pinkiehappy:

Absolutely would read, yes.

I would definitely read it.

It will be read.

Absolutely. I love Redheart, your writing, and the execution of ponies in the caves.

I wouldn't mind taking a looksie at it, if you have a tale to tell.

I would like that very much!
