Fancied a day out in a city not far from me with family for some Christmas shopping. I said I'd treat them to a restaurant, but my mum invited my aunt and cousin, and they seemed to have taken control of everything. Wanted to go to a nice restaurant, but everyone seems to be ignoring me and have all decided to go to McDonald's. The place makes me sick. I know it's silly to complain, but I don't like making plans to be ignored.
Hungry but they don't want to go anywhere now and just want to go to a few clothes shops then go home. Now I feel down and am just going to keep to myself.
So has anyone been up to anything interesting lately? Any Christmas shopping? Enjoying your Friday?

I'm sorry to hear that. I know how miserable it is to have any input ignored like that and dragged somewhere you cannot eat. Though it's worse as you offered to pay yet got no input though your voice should have carried the most weight in the decision.
... I just remembered I haven't even started my Christmas shopping. I guess that'll take a good chunk of my Friday. I hope your day gets better.
