Courtesy of prereader Denim_Blue, who you may recall wrote a great deal of the story-ending changeling interlude chapter in the previous book, that detailed the theft of gryphon war plans out of Mosclaw by Changeling agents and the effort to deliver them to Equestria. He also introduced a new Changeling agent named Lycovenado in chapter 19.
His new writing details the next parts of Lyco’s journey, from training and travel. It will likely be released as a standalone chapter since it’s already big enough to be one, even unfinished.
I have started into a new Firefly chapter myself but I have no current estimate on its completion. Updates will follow as I get deeper into it, but I remind everyone of what I said in the previous chapter’s author’s notes: you’re going to find out who the biggest badass of the Equestrian military truly is, in a scene I’ve been planning for some time.
