Believe it or not, I actually got some chores done today.

And that's saying something, because if Diablo IV was this good at any point last year, it would have definitely been near the top of my Best Games of 2023. You know, instead of being omitted entirely.

So let's just say that Armored Core VI absolutely just got smacked out of the running for Best Yesteryear Game.

    Updates and Such

Well, as a thunderstorm rolls overhead (and hopefully doesn't knock power out), I thought I'd offer some updates on what I've been up to.

Long story short, I'm pretty much in gaming overload at the moment.

Halo Reach PC · 6:32pm Dec 4th, 2019

Reach wasn't my most played Halo game, because it launched during the first real upheaval of my life; moving, leaving home, starting a new career. I distinctly remember cheesing a match as a camo sniper on Blood Gulch by connecting my 360 to my mobile hotspot, and played my only online match at 65 miles per hour in the sleeping berth of a semi truck.

During the first half of Reach's lifespan, I didn't really have a home address, until we settled down here in southern Indiana. Additionally, an international Xbox Live account hijack (I later discovered I was one of hundreds affected) removed a further five months from my available playtime. Throw in diving into a strange new internet fandom of a show about pastel ponies, and you've got my life from late 2010 to mid 2012.

In short, it feels great to be back, in 2k resolution, and ultrawide aspect. 343, the port may not be perfect yet, but thank you so much for the ultrawide support.
