ProMonarchyGenius is no more, Brony God lives. I decided to change my name and avatar in both here in Fimfiction and Youtube today and I made all of my Youtube videos Private until forther notice because of the COPPA Scandal that is threatening to ruin the lives of millions of Youtube users. I am still called ProMonarchyGenius in Deviantart soley because I don't want to pay money for Core Membership just to change my name in there. Let's hope and pray that the COPPA debacle does not affect the entirety of the internet or Fimfiction is doomed. I would like to give a special shout out to my good friend who is called Orudios in Fimfiction and DestinyFreedom VA in Youtube and MegaGundam7778 in Deviantart. And here is his latest video where he talk about the COPPA Scandal.
I doubt they would really come after places like this. It would be more if the place like Google and other companies they will be mostly target platforms that gather information on people. So I am not sure they would go after places like this. Also it's been around since the 1998. So I wouldn't be to worried about it.

The FTC is not the reason for what is going on. Youtubes reacation to it is the problem. They lied they could have added another system to make it mixed. But that would have costed them to much money.

Yeah I know it's Google's fault. Google is just being greedy and they are just looking for an excuse to justify censorship.

Also the entire net won't end up like youtube and no Google is not doing censorship it is more they want to protect themselves from another lawsuit that would make them lose money. Just don't worry about it read up on it and ask a lawyer

It is both censorship and covering their greedy asses. Google wants to transform Youtube from a user friendly participatory website into a non participatory dinosaur platform like network television where only corporate owned channel will be allowed to be on. Not all of us are rolling in tons of cash like Pewdiepie to speak to lawyers.

But until then, I have to keep my content private. I don't want to get sued for $42,000 and risk having my email account deleted. The current situation is very demoralizing.
