Frozen II has restored my faith · 3:20am Nov 25th, 2019
I remember posting a blog about destroying the Frozen CD with a hammer as a protest against Olaf's Frozen Adventure being placed before Pixar's Coco which upset a lot of Mexican and American patrons due to the length of the "short" and vowing to not watch the sequel because it might be annoyingly overrated just like the first. It's already been deleted because yesterday, I've decided to watch Frozen II in hopes that it would change my perspective. And it totally did.
It was an absolutely breathtaking experience. Two musical numbers, Into the Unknown and Show Yourself, gave me the most genuine goosebumps and the cold A/C of the cinema fits really well with the theme of the film. Out of the 4 spirits, the Nokk (water horse) happens to be my favourite because of its fierce and majestic energy.
Norwegian singer AURORA was a great contribution to the voice cast. I've been following her journey since the beginning and I'm incredibly proud of her with how far she has come. Her style of music is described as ethereal, evocative, and haunting art pop and to see her included in a Disney film, even if it's a minimal role, is just wonderful.
I'm also amazed that Brendon Urie was able to reach the highest of notes in his version of Into The Unknown. I wholeheartedly agree with people in the YouTube comments that he should be a Disney Princess because of his marvelous rendition.
Just to clarify, I'm in favour of the sequel and my opinion still stands with the first one being annoyingly overrated and I have no care for the shorts whatsoever.
That wraps up my personal thoughts on Frozen II. I'm glad that the characters have grown and matured and that Disney is stepping up its game to a whole new level.
Bruni and the Nokk are my favorites of the elemental spirits. But yeah, Frozen II was a massive improvement over the first one.

I feel absolute sympathy for the people out there who have suffered from the horror of listening to songs of the first one over and over again wherever they go.
Bruni reminds me of Rapunzel's pet chameleon, Pascal.
