Director's cut: "When Dating a Sunset..." chapter 9: The payback · 12:17am Nov 23rd, 2019
Much less to say in this chapter's director's cut. The change I did with Sunset Shimmer spending the night at Twilight Sparkle's castle, which I said already in the chapter 8 director's cut, obviously effected how chapter 9 would have went if she left after the date as she originally did. I'm not even sure how chapter 9 would have started if I didn't make that change, or even how the chapter itself would have been like. I probably would have had Sunset come back to Equestria during chapter 9, but that's about it.
The part with Sunset and Eric Reed scaring Twilight, Spike, and Starlight Glimmer wasn't something I planned when I had them listening in on Sunset and Eric earlier in the story. It was one of those things I thought about some time afterwards. Not the first time I've done stuff like that.
I had a bit of trouble trying to decide what to have Sunset and Eric do after they had breakfast, but the writer's block, if I can even call it that, didn't last long.
As for changes during editing, no real noteworthy changes were done in this chapter.
