Important Announcement and Request to Followers

Hello to all my followers and those I follow,

I'm sure you've noticed by now that I have not published a single MLP fic to this site. This is very discouraging to me. All I have mainly done is favorite and read. That's not quite what this site is for and I really don't think I will be able to find the strength of time to write any Fimfiction to post on this site.

Also, my life as I know it is going to be ending soon (not literally of course, don't take that too seriously; I'm just being slightly dramatic ). But seriously, I'm going to be graduating college soon and will be hopefully moving out on my own. After that, I hope to get a new job that matches my Bachelor's in Mass Communications. After that, who knows. As such, I will probably be very busy working full time at my current job in order to get more money.

Plus, I have something of an internet addiction I'm trying to curb (writing this isn't really helping matters , but it must be done). I have this account, one on Fanfiction, DeviantArt, and the new AO3 I mentioned. That's alot to watch over and check for updates and the like.

Finally, I have numerous other stories I am working on on Fanfiction (including some I have adopted and am working on).

Due to all of this, and after a great deal of some thinking, I have decided that within the next year of 2020, I will be leaving FIMFiction.

I understand if this is difficult for many of you who like me and the few who follow me, but I feel I must do this. I am already making big changes. I'm planning on leaving DA after I download enough pics and stories that I liked from there and I while I am not leaving Fanfiction, I have WAY too many favorited stories and am going to be "culling the herd" so to speak .

This is a big change for me and I would greatly appreciate your support in this choice .

That being said, I said I would be leaving in 2020, and not even at the very beginning of the year (more likely in April or something). In order to make this a proper farewell, I will be FINALLY doing that Top 100 Creme de la Creme list I have been promising for so long but never got around to . Also, like with DeviantArt and Fanfiction (though I will still be keeping the best favorites for the latter), I will be saving my favorite FIMFics so that I can continue reading them. Plus, I may be leaving the community, but that doesn't mean I'll be leaving FIMfiction for good. I'll still visit to see if certain stories or authors I once followed or favorited have been updated.

Again, I ask and thank you for your support in this choice. I have been a Brony since 2013 and a part of this site since 2016. This is tough, but I feel it's the right choice.

Finally, one last thing. Recently I found out that YouTube, as well as countless people on this site who use, it could very well be in trouble. Please read this petition on Change.org in order to better understand and sign it to help. It's doing great so far, but the more signs, the better. Spread the word to those of you who have many followers, send this to them too.

Again, thanks so much for so many years and stories. I will not be leaving yet as I said, but I will soon. I will post my list eventually on the blog and send off on a final farewell.

I can understand you needing to take a break from the site. But I do hope you do come back. But between those dates, here is one that will try to keep a spot warm for you.

Not sure if I will or not (it's my decision after all but anything can happen), but thanks for the encouragement and for keeping your heart warm for me til then . As I said, I may be leaving the community, but not FIMfiction altogether as I will still stop by to see any updates and the like. I could maybe even return years from now under a new name.
