It's Turkey month!
You know, the holiday that stores ignore for the gifty month.
I knew one store, they were pushing Christmas right after Easter.
A lot of folks talk about a war against Christmas.
Yeah, I'd like to see Christmas stuff like right after Thanksgiving day instead of it creeping earlier and earlier.
Some folks are pushing back at that. Unfortunately, I wouldn't be surprised if they start putting up Christmas decorations near Groundhog day.
"Hey! Look! The Groundhog came out of his burrow to get his gifts from Santa!"
"I wonder if he'll see the gift's shadow?"
"If he sees his gift's shadow, it's two more months of an APR of 35%!"
"Poor guy, groundhogs make so little money."
Anyway, happy Thanksgiving.
Back to my status report.
Well of Midnight has an editor.
If he does not disappear, I could finish the story and get it edited. Which is great because I can start posting.
I've been toying with an idea for my next fan fiction. It will be a bunch of firsts.
1. First Slice of life.
2. First story where a changeling is a main char.
3. First E rated comedy though it might be dark.
The story is about a changeling who does QA at a well known software company that's going to have a new product release in two weeks.
One hint, the place is called Bugthesda.
The good news is I have a plan that will help me finish the story.
