some good bits of " Lyra's Dreams " · 1:00am Nov 15th, 2012
here's some scenes i think are actually any good from the fic I'm writing xD
" Welcome to Sugar Cube corner, home of most delicious baked goods this side of Canterlot, what can I get for you?"
she spoke in an almost automated voice before reverting to her... normal behaviour.
Lyra had been so distracted she forgot what she came up to buy, slightly frazzled she made her way back to her table with Moondancer.
"Oh, okay then, One nothing coming right up! I can help the next pony in line in just a minute while I make this nothing!"
that scene launches into a story arch all about pinkie making a " nothing " for Lyra, begging with Pinkie shutting down the store and taking a train to Canterlot to get ingredients.
"I did everything right, played by all the rules. So WHY! Why is THIS my reward"
the hands smashed down on the table. She grabbed the picture of the girl and tore it in half.
"After all I’ve done! this is what I get?!"
"At least it'll be over soon"
She didn't stare at her hands; instead she looked to the left hand side of the table.
this is part of the dream Lyra has that spooks her into going to Canterlot to talk to Princess Luna about her dreams.
"I love you Lyra."
"Don't talk like that it's just a fever you'll be fine in a week tops."
"Just say it, for me."
" I love you Bon-Bon."
Lyra caught a smirk on Bon-Bon's face, she smiled too, Bon-Bon was getting back to her old self already.
this scene has some hopefully suddel foreshadowing in it and sets up to one of the major plot points of the story. heh heh " plot points "
so that's it hopefully i'll get some more writing done soon. this fic may either be really long or have sequels. the problem is i keep getting new ideas i wanna use, but only have one ending i want and i want to upload something. so ill try to wrap up this one with a decent cliffhanger for ya and then get to work on the next part of the story " Lyra's Curse "
OR i could just keep writing and make " Lyra's Dreams " really long :S i dont know which i'll do just yet. OKAI BAI GUISE
