Hey guys, yeah, it’s me. I don’t know how many of you are still here but I feel I should say something now that the end of the show has hit us. I was putting it off because I didn’t want things to end. That’s what everything does eventually though doesn’t it? Things end. Every great story has an end. Every great feat in history ended eventually. People die.
Just so you know, I never left the fandom since I first joined it as freshman in high school in 2012 shortly after Discord’s debut. I DID take a break during 2015 and 2016 but that was more from pony burnout then anything. I may not have written much since 2014 but I have been constantly reading fanfics here as well as accruing a massive selection of comics and art of mlp over on deviant art. I’ve also been keeping up with the music and animation on YouTube.
I might not write any pony stuff ever unless inspiration strikes again, but I will be here; especially if the next gen is good. I made more friends online and off because of pony then any other reason. I lost a few along the way too. The world is moving on wether I like it or not.
But I want you ALL to know, every comment, every upvote, every moment of your time, I truly am grateful for it all!
I hope you’ll remember me. That’s the truest gift of all. Of course it doesn’t really matter. Very little objectively does.
But it matters to me.
