Olivia Olson has been eliminated in The X Factor: Celebrity on October 26, 2019, which is an absolute bummer. It just goes to show that Simon Cowell chooses ratings over talent.
Some people claim that the X Factor is rigged and more of a soap opera than searching for real talent, which is understandable, considering a lot of criticisms and controversies revolving around the show for many years.
That pretty much how show work, rating over talent thought Simon and co is quarter of that problem, the main culprit is the CEO and the shareholders. *sigh* she has so many potential and yet brought down by corporate greed

I read that one of the contestants, Diana Vickers, said she was glad she didn't win or else, she wouldn't have the creative freedom to make her own music. I guess being eliminated counts as a blessing if one wishes to be into the indie pop/indie rock scene.
