My patreon (please read). How would I go about reworking it? Do people actually watch streamers write? · 5:25pm Nov 3rd, 2019
I was thinking of doing something simple now. I'm going to remove all those extra levels above ten bucks to start with. I wanted to make it so that first dollar patrons get to see the unpublished chapter in advance for example, and see what story is coming next (You'll also get an invite to my discord, at which point you can create an infinitely lasting invite for any friends you want to bring over. Or you just ask me now. Needs new blood).
I also want to make it so 5 dollar gits get to vote on any future stories I might have put in the suggestion box. Potentially, this could also be the commission tier. You could also suggest stories you want me to continue (but then you have to go in the 100 tier ).
Haven't figured out anything for ten bucks yet. Perhaps, after a certain amount (when I give it a value of things that can be done. Joining it just for that isn't fair) of people join it, I start doing monthly raffles of short stories to write.
I was told at my new job that people also sometimes stream themselves writing a story. Is that actually a thing that happens? If so, I could add that to tier 1 dollah maybe to give it some more oomph, or to tier 5 dollah to give more 'permanence' to it.
I want to extend this stuff to my real books too eventually, and money I make here will serve to fund my idea of self-publishing, but I would need the help of all of you to spread the word of that book and maybe this patreon if I ever have to do that thanks to no literary agents wanting me. To think you're forced to go through them now. *shrugs*
People... stream... writing? I'm just as baffled as you are about that 0_0 . I mean, I can see the reasoning behind it, it would/could be a little like a DnD session where the chat is participating, but I never would have thought about something like this ever being able to work. More research is required!
As for the patreon... I really don't know if I can afford to pay any more than a dollar per month (student life is expensive ;_; ). But I wanna help as much as I can!

It's voluntary. You're not obligated to pay more if you don't want to.
I'll just take your sanity as a forward payment.

It's really fun when something that could be the first step towards me achieving my goals is always ignored.

... Ah. So *that's* what I was forgetting about all of this time. Yeah, sorry, this is my bad. One minute.

Again, sorry about that. I had alot on my plate these last days that it completely slipped my mind. You're the first person I ever gave money to through Patreon, by the way. I hope you realise what honor this is... *snooty lip-pursing*
:P

I wasn't talking about you when I said 'ignored'. Also, wait what? Thank you very much.
And the Sombra story? It ended up as Sombrette.

... oh. Well, rereading your comments, I do realise that it might be possible that there is a slim chance of me not reading your comments well. Oh well! Still made me remember to fulfill my promise, so all is good. :3
And about the Sombra story... yeah, didn't realise you posted that. Bit of a sneak publication there, ain't it? Well, off to read that one then! *Wub-wub-wub-wub-wub!*

Kinda dumped patreon because only my friend Redflare was subscribed, and he doesn't actually read my stories. Need a few more, but I'll be working on the patreon in the intermission.
