Ladies and gentlemen... it's finally back.

The preparations are complete and the years long hiatus has been lifted. It's finally time to put The Masks We Wear back into the story rotation. I resolved to start this story up again for the new year and that's exactly what I aim to do starting with this new chapter.

Still have some motivation and inspiration left to keep writing, but...

It's been shifted over to another story for the time being—specifically, Sparkle. I've been thinking about that particular cliffhanger a lot lately, and I figured it was about time I got back to it. I'm about 1,800+ words into the final chapter of Episode VII and hope to be done by next week. I do have an IRL job so we'll have to see, but here's hoping.

New chapter of Survivor's Guide releasing tomorrow morning.

Just what it says on the tin. Running out of steam a bit so this might be the last one for while, but again, we'll see. No guarantees. Never any guarantees.

    Except for this.

This next chapter release is a guarantee.

I'll even give you a time frame.

Chapter will be out around 8:00am MST or 3pm UTC.

So apparently Insomniac Games tried their hand at a VR Lovecraftian horror game awhile back... · 1:01am Nov 3rd, 2019

Not sure how this one escaped my notice, but it's pretty damn good for what it is—it being another Lovecraftian tale adapted to the video game medium. I don't have a PSVR or Oculus headset so I had to make do with watching a let's play of the game. It seems to draw heavy (heavy) inspiration from At the Mountains of Madness specifically, and again, while I do have some nitpicks, on the whole, Insomniac games did a damn good job.

Admittedly I didn't get much writing done today because I binge-watched that entire let's play in one go, then had to get ready for work... but yeah, if anyone's interested, pick it up if you have a VR headset of some sort or watch someone play it on Youtube, I highly recommend the experience.

It looks like it’s 3rd person, so I’m surprised you actually need a VR set. Maybe it’s just VR compatible?

That's what I was wondering too, but I don't have the money to get it right now so I didn't bother to check.

It looks fun. I might get it when I actually have monies again.

Neat, looking forward to hear more of this.
