So the finale... That happened.

God almighty, did I bawl. Wasn't even at the show itself - the episodes were great, honestly it's just a spectacle to finally see this great show ride out in the sunset. No, the worst of it was just seeing the effect the dawning of the eternal hiatus had on a lot of people. Peak at any brony site or mlp group and you'll see some sad posts; hell, the finale stream on cytu.be was a fuckin' tear-jerker. Almost 3000 bronies just together, enjoying the very last moments and hysterically weeping our grown adult tears at this dumb, corny, amazing, one-of-a-kind little pony show...

Didn't help that the streams played some sad as fuck PMVs! Didn't help that the nostalgic love for PMVs as a whole took over me as well.

Y'know, the first time I ever loved a book enough to want to turn a page was on this site. Of Ponies and Humans, if anyone's wondering; an admittedly not very well written story, but with too much heart and soul not to admire. And I'll always fucking remember you, Ponyville Zero, you abominable train wreck of ponies and grotesque video game characters. One day... I'll finish the story your author couldn't.

I just wanna say that, I, uh, love you all. It's pretty silly in the grand scheme, but all of you - every last person who ever proclaimed themselves a fan of this show and dove headfirst pool of degeneracy and spaghetti - have practically become a second family to me. And I know that even now, nothing's really gonna change. Maybe a few hundred people'll leave now that there's not much to look forward to, but so many of you will stick around far beyond. I know I'm not heading out! Major pone sites aren't coming down, least of which this one. I just had to say it, because... Fuck, do I have to say it? You're all my very best friends!
