Soooo, That Finale...huh · 4:11am Oct 13th, 2019
Heeeey, everyone. Been awhile.
So shit's been going on in life. Not only did I get laid off from my job, but having to deal with the death of my ACTUAL father due to, oddly enough, alcohol about 3 months ago. Cruel joke, yea.
But there's no need to worry about that, How about that finale. Have to admit, nearly got me tearing up with that final song. So many memories. So many new friends, all because of a show of technicolor, mutated, midget horses. It's nice to finally see the series coming to an end.
But that's not why I'm making this post. I think it's finally time to call The Mystery of a New World canceled, or at least on indefinite hiatus
After being hit by another nasty bout of writers block for it, i can't get my thoughts clear with where I want to take it. I initially had an idea on what i wanted to do with the rest of it, but I just can't, for the life of me, pull those ideas out and put them to the screen.
I'm sorry to everyone who wanted to see it to the end. I really am.
That's not to say I haven't stopped doing any writing. Recently, I've been helping a friend with his story series Driftwood Cottage. If you're interested, you can see some of my stuff there.
Dang, was really looking forward to seeing them go to the human world, but I completely understand where you are coming from. Maybe we can see the story finished sometime in the future, but if not its ok! It was a great read, complete or not.
I won't deny i hope you come back to this at some point, but if you do you do, if not then not. It is still an awesome story. It's ok to leave it for a while or forever
