The future of Moonfall and Chapter VI · 6:07am Nov 13th, 2012
Hey everypony! Season three finally started last weekend and... well I was honestly disappointed in the premier, but I still have high hopes for the rest of it 
! I was thinking of posting a review in my blog sometime later this week if anypony'd care to read and discuss~ (or just yell at me 
)
Anyways, season three means many things for us. It means we all get to see our favorite girls go on adventures and discover new things about themselves and each other, but more importantly, it means we will receive more cannon plot. This could possibly affect Moonfall in multiple ways. As you readers would know, I love to keep cannon parts in the story and fill in the gaps with my own interpretations. Facts revealed later in this season could easily alter or disrupt the timeline I have already planned.
For me, personally, it's very upsetting, but I knew I might have to deal with something like this eventually if the show were to continue. The story may very well end up becoming alternate reality by the end of the season, but I'm really hoping that doesn't happen. I already have to slap a disclaimer on it now, due to the Crystal Ponies. All I can say is I hope you all continue to enjoy Moonfall regardless

Now then, the newest chapter is a little over 70% done, and is wrapping up nicely! The night will come to an end shortly, and we'll finally move on to another venue! How exciting

as for the premiere:
i loved it. there where only a few things with greatly annoyed me. and a few things which made my mind spin.
loved everything other than the evil guy and spike's role in the whole thing, and celestia annoys me a little, but it's the same reason as always.
spike: yes, he did get the shiny history picture, but seriously, all he did was follow twi as she figured out and got past EVERY damn obstacle on her own (yes i know she said that spike wasn't allowed to help, but i doubt he would have been very helpful anyway). then when she's almost at the heart, she finds out the hard way that it's a kind of "dead-mans switch", meaning that someone has to stay there, and since she didn't know about that; she's the one trapped. now, spike takes the heart, and jump on to a ramp outside, begins to run down, only to TRIP like 1/10th down and fling the heart towards king sombra, and in the last second shining throws cadence to intercept. in my eyes, the only thing spike did was pick up the heart and fling it towards sombra...
sombra: ...well, what is there to say, he was kept out almost the entire time. he didn't have anything epic to say. he basically didn't have anything to come with other than being a potential threat.
celestia: manipulative!

Seriously! Spike's role was so derpy and Sombra barely did anything! I don't wanna get into too much in the comments, but the one thing that really killed it was how little they talk about Cadance and then just up and reveal her as THE Crystal Princess. WTF! So many unanswered questions!!!
I hated that book nod at the end. Subtle things like that aren't suitable to this kind of show imo. There's a lot of random speculation about it, but who knows what it really is.

i liked pretty much everything, except spike's role and sombra. i even like that book in the end, gives promise that the episodes might relate to each other more now.
