First of all, there's this little thing called freedom of speech. When two people argue about something, they're challenging each other's differing opinions, which may be unpleasant, yes, but it is still a perfectly normal human thing to do. Silencing one side of an argument is fascism, and is not a normal or acceptable thing to do.

I woke up to transphobia in my PMs. I just walked away from it. I'm not obligated to give that shit the time of day. Instead, I think I'll write more trans characters into stories. If they want start a conversation with curiosity and confusion instead of fear and judgment, we can have a dialogue.
