The end of generation 4... · 4:48am Sep 5th, 2019
All good things must come to an end I guess, it hurts me so much to know that season 9 is pretty much done and looking back at the memories i've shared with not only the fandom but ones I've held onto from the TV series has me at my breaking point. I cannot hold it together knowing all these years of watching the TV series moving through its arc, all the stories and tales I've shared, good and bad memories all come to a close with Episode 26 and I just watched it a second time through my own means and broke down crying...
Call me what you will but my life was pretty shitty before I discovered this TV show, it made me so happy and hopeful for something with a story arc, progressive characters and a TRULY amazing fandom to go with it. I really cannot bring myself to words to describe all the great things this fandom has given me and I fear I may have been lost without all of this, I may have possibly put a bullet in my brain at one point it got so bad. This series and the friends I made from the fandom changed my life forever, I hit a VERY dark and depressing point in my life and IRL career and I think if I had not had the fond memories up to that point MLP and the friends I had made from it then I would have not been here today to tell all of you this tale...
But I am here to see the end of Gen 4, and as much as it makes me so very sad to see it end the developers at Hasbro has truly pulled off a wondrous finale to the whole of the series and I cannot help but be happy after the fact that it's the end of Gen 4.
A word to my viewers: I thank all of you that has so far supported my writing this far, I'm really breaking out of old fears and doing something I've wanted to do for so long and hope you will all continue your amazing support and spread my writing around. Remember i'm always open to suggestions, constructive criticism is recommended please and always know your support drives me onward, I couldn't be more honest from my heart to all of you!
I'll be continuing work on the next chapter now and I hope you will all enjoy the story as I have great plans including a future prequel backstory for Princess Star Light, the Celestial Twilight and princess of guidance and I know you will all enjoy it so much!
I know how it feels. I was there when they aired the first episode of Season 1 on TV years ago. Even if the show ends, we still have the memories. That's what matters.
