I'm not gonna lie I saw the last few episodes of season 9 and needless to say I'm beyond disappointed, in fact to be honest season 9 in general has been kind of let down at least by final season standard's there were some episode's I liked like sparkle seven and the last crusade, Don't worry I wont spoil anything, I still don't get why celestia and luna want to retire all of a sudden and the twist at the last two parter honestly killed the season for me, so as much as I hate to do this I think i'm just going to erase season 9 from canon, I know this is extremely far fetched but hopefully one day season 9 will be retconed or something, and before anyone say's anything no I don't support the death threat's Jim Miller has been getting I feel really bad he's going through this death threat's are never the answer, so it look's like i'm going to have to stick to fanfic's and the comic's for now.
While I may disagree with that notion, I respect your opinion. I am sorry that the finale did not live up to your expectations.
At the same time, though... I can't help but feel that rendering the entire season non-canon in all of your future stories would be an extremely pointless and, dare I say it, a downright petty thing to do. Besides, all it would really accomplish would be alienating potential viewers because of the AU tag that you probably wouldn't have needed otherwise.
As much as it may suck, sometimes you just have to grit your teeth and roll with the punches.

I understand and to be fair it's far from the worst finale to a series I've ever seen the star vs finale is way worse and like I said there are some thing's in season 9 I liked
