So I know probably no one will see this, considering I haven't written anything of substance in 5 years, but I found this funny.
In my last blog post, I riffed on a girl who had a Mary Sue-esque alicorn OC. Daughter of Celestia, elements of harmony, yada yada. Well, she's my girlfriend now lol.
Can you believe it? Someone who I publicly mocked turned out to be the love of my life. It's amazing how much she's matured between the last blog post and now. Back then, she was so energetic and loud... she didn't at all mesh with my more quiet and brooding personality. But as time moved on, she mellowed out, and I learned to lighten up. She could still bounce off of the walls though, and that sparkle in her eyes when she gushes about what she loves is what made me fall head over heels for her.
We both still love ponies, and her OCs are much more well-developed now. But honestly, who cares if you have an OC society deems as "cringe?" Cringe culture's dead; if you love your OC, use it! We should know this about cringe, the fandom's main draw back in the day was that it was a bunch of grown ass adults loving a show for children.
In conclusion, it's late, I'm rambling, and Cadance injected love directly into my veins.
