100th Blog Anniversary: A Thank You to my Followers · 11:46pm Aug 30th, 2019

So we're finally here at last. 100 Blog posts.

*deep breath*

I must admit, I didn't really know what to do for this kind of milestone. I had planned to do this sooner, but I've recently started my second year of college, and this week has been bogged down by me getting into my new classes. I thought about doing a face reveal, but at this time I'm still not too keen on revealing that, plus I've been consistently having trouble using Google Photos to link images to.

So I've decided to do something different.

I'm going to say 'thank you'.

When I first joined Fimfiction back in late 2017 (Good grief, is it really that long ago already?), I honestly didn't know where I'd end up by now, or even if I'd still be here. I suppose part of me had big dreams of being counted among the big-shots. Don't we all? I mean, I did get into the feature box that one time, so I guess that's something.

But I never expected to make so many friends and have so many good discussions and fun times as I have on this site. I can't tell you how much it means to me to see people consistently coming back to any one of my in-progress stories, hungry for more. As someone who's often very unsure of my own adequacy, I cannot state enough how much your comments and support mean to me.

I just thought I'd take the time to thank you all for...well, everything, I guess.

In particular, I'd like to thank A Man Undercover, Fireheart 1945, Godslittleprincess, and HolyCross9 for our many conversations and discussions on the more Christian-based groups around the site. Truth be told, I never expected to find such a big Christian presence here, and I'm tremendously thankful for it. It's nice to know that I'm not alone in my faith.

I'd also like to give a shout-out to BradyBunch as well, whose grand epic, suitably named A Rather Large Adventure, has kept me riveted since the day I first began reading it. I've laughed, I've cried, I've cringed, I've done it all, really. We may have theological differences, but I will be forever grateful that we met. I assure you, you will be sorely missed when you leave on your two-year missions trip.

Further shout-outs go to tyrannosaurianrex9, whose enthusiastic love of all things prehistoric transcends even my own; to Whinifree, whose stories The Lords of Harmony and I Hear the Stars I too have devoured with great vigor; and finally TheMysteryMuffin, by virtue of being the first person to begin consistently following me.

There are many, many more followers that I have not mentioned by name, but I assure you, I am thanking you all.

Thank you all for three years of support, lively discussions, and constructive criticism. The show may end, but I plan on being here for a long time afterwards. And I truly hope that you can stay along for the ride.

This is Jade Dawn, signing out.

For now...

Niiiiiice! Thank you so much for the kind words, friend! You're breathtaking!

...Although I'd like to think I am Christian as well. Strange you didn't include me in the list of Christians.

I never said you weren't; I just put you separately because I thought I'd give your story a shout-out of it's own.

You’re welcome!

Why thank you.

Thanks for the shoutout.

I’m happy that I’ve even able to help you have the time of your life here.
