Seriously? Are people really that nasty? · 12:01am Aug 28th, 2019
Look, I know how disappointed and upset people are when they found out about the leaks and how the finale turned out. In fact, I watched the remaining episodes of season 9 and I share the same feelings as them. However, they crossed the line by sending hate mail and death threats to people who worked on the show for years.
It's absolutely ridiculous and cruel of them to do that. Their actions go against everything the show is all about. These people have worked hard on the show for years and this is how they repay them? There's two things I would like to say to them: Please stop it and grow the hell up.
It's a show originally targeted towards a younger demographic. The MLP:FIM crew thinks this is the best way to end it and all you can do is respect their decisions. In other words, it is what it is.
There are tons of fanfictions here that take place in a different timeline that would suit their tastes.
Also, there's a door that leads to the exit if they feel like they want to leave and don't want to be part of the fandom anymore.
I agree with you I am a gamer as well as a Brony so I here about fans doing this for years the latest example was Anthem because who ever played it on the PS 4 ended up with a broken console but what is funny is that the reason why the game was braking consoles is because Sony didn't put a powerful enough processor into the PS 4 to play the game and it wasn't because Sony couldn't it was because it saved Sony money. I guess what I am saying is that I see this kind of stupid crap all the time but way to go Brony fandom. I didn't think that some of us were that bad of ass holes. Look for all of you guys doing the hate mail DON'T JOIN IN A FANDOM IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE IT.

Preach!
All I can say is that I've definitely seen tons of nastiness from the fandom since joining in 2011. Criticism is fine, and I feel has actually made the show better overall, but hate mail and death threats ar never called for.
I honestly don't feel epics are usually the show's strengths; I'd prefer a quiet finale myself, maybe something like the last episode of Babylon 5 for anyone who's seen that.
