Had some interesting dreams last night · 1:33pm Aug 24th, 2019
Had a pony dream this morning and wanted to write it down, so the ol' speedfic collection has a new chapter! Tagging the actual old collection cuz y'all need to get on board with the new one. :B
Also, the only reason I'm not trying to work it into a full AU is that I've got another story planned where Octavia is wearing a similar outfit.
I'm not kidding. But actually the other reason is that it would just end up being pointless Harry Potter fanfic, and I've literally only just finished reading the first book. No one needs that. :V
It's not the only dream I had last night, though...
I had this dream I was at some kind of huge nerd con. Like, I don't think it was exclusively Magic: The Gathering or even fantasy board/card game based, but there was like, an entire wing of the con that was. The whole thing was being held in this expansive castle, the kind you can rent out for big shindigs, and which adjoined a more modern convention center, so the place was huge.
And they went all out on everything. Like, at one point, I stop and pick up a few of these metal coins on the ground, that you can use for betting on games in the con and then trading in for prizes. Literal metal con currency!
Despite all this, I was kind of not having a lot of fun, because whoever I was rooming with has disappeared, I don't know anyone, and I don't play Magic.
That night, they shut the whole place down, kind of early by my reckoning, but it's so they can do this big con story thing, with a dragon attacking the castle. I realize there's actually nothing keeping me there, so I walk back to my hotel room, and the whole time, I'm up on the roof area of this castle, and I can see the laser effects and stuff they used to make the dragon attack, and it actually looked pretty cool. :)
That's it, hope y'all enjoy the little story. It sort of turned into a story as I was writing it, so that was pleasant.
