Interview with Applefai

Alright, now tell me my dear friend, what inspired your username?

My username is actually my oc's name, I got the name because of my two favorite characters in media. The Apple obviously comes from Applejack, and Fai comes from the manga Tsubasa. I relate to Applejack because I kinda live a country life, I relate to Fai because he's laid back and wants everyone to be happy.

What drew you into Mlp

A mixture of a friend from high school showing me videos like the Derpy Nyan Nyan dance, a bit of the mad cartoon and a video from Smosh, this one to be precise https://youtu.be/NQjKc_pLwEc. I actually said I'd consider watching something like that, but said friend said my little pony wasn't that bad so I gave it a shot and first watched the episode "too many Pinkie Pies" but my memory of my first episode is a bit fuzzy, I forget sometimes, all I remember is the tail end of "the Crystal Empire" which is why I think it's "too many Pinkie Pies"

Who is your favorite pony and why

My favorite pony is Applejack. I can relate to her because she's down to earth, honest, and prefers the simple life while still being ambitious.

Favorite episode and why

My favorite episode is hard to say, I like all of them, but I can tell you my least favorite which is "what about discord" to me the humor was forced, but if I had to chose I'll have to say any Apple family centered because of how relatable they are.

What inspires you to write

That is a tricky question because I find inspiration comes to me out of the blue, but I have to say the challenge of trying to create different worlds and different events.

Tell us about your favorite story, and why it inspires you to write. It doesn't have to be mlp specifically

Hmmm, I have a lot a favorite stories, but none really inspired me to write. Like Rarity inspiration just strikes me sometimes.

Give us the background of the author! Tell us all about you. Well in a short summary.

Well, I'm just a simple guy who loves stories, I love animals and nature, usually when writing I don't stress and let the ideas form on the own.

With Mlp coming to an end, tell us one thing you have learned from your experiences, and how it has helped you to grow

Well I learned alot of things, some I already knew, but I came in a bit late and started watching when season five began, but watched a lot of reruns, so I can't really say

Is there anything else you'd like to say

Not that I can think of except some words of inspiration to other fellow and potential authors, and that is, always leave comments and ratings on, to turn them off is giving the haters power, if you put alot of heart into what you write it's going to be good, so write what you like be it fetish, everyone, teen, etc. Just write what you like.
