Been a while, huh?

Ho there friends and fellows! I've been very quiet for quite a while, haven't I? Perhaps to the point where people are probably thinking any chance of seeing me again is a lost cause

So let me tell you what's been going on with me. As my profile states, I'm an artist at heart. That means I do a lot more artwork than writing, to the point that you should be able to see something from me every week on my primary art account, DeviantArt. (Here's a link to that, by the way.) I've got mostly single-frame images, a crazy ongoing crossover of MLP and Undertale, and at least two images that are my own oh-so-special original content, so there's that. That was what I've been doing for most of the time when I haven't been writing. But you're probably not here to listen in on what I've been doing on other sites; you want to know the state of my fanfics.

Well in all honesty... The motivation is seeping away slowly. partly because I don't know where I'm going with my stories, and partly because I'm having trouble getting there. It's one of those things where I sit there with the document up and ready for me to type in, and then I hover my hands over the keyboard for the next hour and a half.

So in light of this concern, I'm intending to make some explicit statements on what is currently incomplete in my listed stories, just to hopefully keep you all in the loop, and renew your hope that ol' billblok here will actually upload a new chapter some time in the next year:

Celestia Does stuff: Still ongoing, but it needs some edits.

This story, I admit, is a bit of a mess, but I want to carry it through to the end, if at all possible... This means I may have to do a revision or two. So I believe the action plan is to...
-Change the names of the EQG characters to that which would be normally expected, because it's a lot harder than I thought to make up new names, and it's just far too silly not to, because no one else uses explicitly human names for them, so why should I?
-Scrap the chapter I'm working on entirely. This may come as a disappointment to you all, but while I liked the opening of it, I realized that I just cannot write out a high-school setting-- despite having experienced highschool just like anyone else. I just need to figure out how to make sunset become friends with the humane-five in another way that does not involve grievous bodily harm. (Don't worry, I'll post the unfinished chapter for you all to see at some time that isn't two hours before I have to go to bed for work in the morning.)

Diseased: Now canceled to my shame

So I'm not going to make any claims about it being in progress or not... I'm going to can this one. I've lost interest entirely, and continuing to leave it "on hiatus" is simply fooling no one at this point. It didn't help that I happened to name a bit character the same name of a very important changeling, but in all honesty the story I had for this one is such a mess of incomplete ideas, I couldn't possibly put all together. So sorry, but I don't think anyone was too shook up about it all the same.

Help snuggled: Just gotta finish the dang chapter!

This one is in a very similar state to C does stuff where it's got a bit of a troublesome chapter waiting for release. Most of the problem is... just how long can one drag along the joke of "ha ha ponies and creatures are hugging her without her consent so funny"? So to mend that issue, I had made it an ongoing story.
In hindsight it might have been a better choice to make it an anthology style story with just little one-shots throughout it, but hey in for a penny, in for a pound, right? Thankfully I DO have an idea... I'm just uncertain how to execute it.

Anyway in summary, I have a bit of work on my plate when it comes to the writing thing, and it may just be a while before I post up anything of major value. In the meantime, I'll just keep trucking. Here's hoping results show IN LESS THAN A YEAR'S TIME!
